My name is Amy. I just wrapped up my 8th year teaching first grade. I am a mother to ten year old twin boys. They keep me very busy! I enjoy cycling, yoga, being outdoors, playing games, and being present with the people who bring me joy. My family and friends group are very important to me. I couldn't be on this journey without their love and support. I am in my last year of the TESOL masters program. I'm passionate about education and teaching students who speak other languages. I find joy in helping them grow and acquire their language skills, all while embracing their first language skills. Summer time is my time to rejuvenate and restore after the school year. The ocean helps me to do that.
My family and friend group are very important to me as well, they are what drive me and push me forward.
